I am a graduate, PhD in Chemistry. I am currently working for a local company. My company placed me at Carylls for the duration of my contract. This is the first time I say at Carylls. I met with Michael in one of the recently refurbished suite.
I was pleased to see that the suites provide a fully equipped kitchen, sitting area, and separate en-suite double bedroom. The cost of staying in it is less than the price of a room in a hotel. It is definitely a place where one can stay much longer than a few nights.
There is no comparison between the suites and, for example a room at the Premier Inn. The staff are helpful. Many of the excess that one would normally pay for are included eg, parking, broadband etc
I came to stay at Carylls on the 22nd of May and have been here ever since (for 7 months in total). I stayed in apartment no 3 (Boleyn) which has entrance hall, a large en-suite double bed room with views of the front lawn, large kitchen and sitting room. I moved in Boleyn when it had just been renovated and refurbished. Everything was brand new. You could still smell the paint.
The alternative to my stay at Carylls Country House would have been a hotel, which is not worth thinking about. The reason for my stay is that I am a contractor from Germany working in Brighton for an unspecified length of time.
When my jobs on occasions take me to Birmingham for a few days, I of course have to stay in a hotel. You cant compare a hotel room to an apartment at Carylls. Whenever I went to Birmingham, I kept my apartment at Carylls to make sure it was available when I get back.
I am here staying at Carylls with a group of German colleagues each one of whom have an apartment or a room at Carylls. For me, the peace and quietness of the place and the fact that I can cook a meal every evening when I get home has been of great importance.
Carylls is cheaper than hotels and far superior. You get a lot for your money.

I was delighted to find an apartment at Carylls. I stayed in the annex which had a double bed room, a twin room (which Michael converted into an office for me), open plan sitting room, dining room, kitchen and of course en-suite toilet and shower.
The 5 acre grounds are beautiful. In the summer, it gave me a feeling of being on holiday when I came home from work. My friends and I, each had an apartment and we were allowed to have a BBQ on the lawn every evening after work. It was nice to sit in the garden, when the sun was still shining and have a coffee or a can of beer after a long day’s work.
I am the regional manager of a large company and live in Pembrookshire. In July of this year, my company sent me to Sussex to work. My office located (Raleigh) an apartment at Carylls Country House in Faygate where I have been for the last 5 months albeit I go home the weekend.
I love it a Carylls. The place is peaceful, ideally located and provide necessities such as private allocated parking. It is certainly good value for money.
My apartment has entrance hall, a very good size double room with en-suite bathroom, a nice spacious lounge with open plan fully fitted kitchen and dining room. From my bedroom, I have nice views of the front lawn, and my sitting room overlooks the front garden.
Raleigh is fully and nicely furnished, providing a homely setting.
Carylls does not compare to a hotel room; apart from the fact that the room was much cheaper, there was self-catering facilities which means that I did not have to eat out every evening and most important of all, I did not have to live out of a suitcase.
I stayed until mid November. I will definitely come back if ever I need to. I also left Michael’s business card at work for my colleagues to use the services of Carylls should they need to. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Carylls as a place to stay.
I had sold my home and was moving with my job to another town. Unfortunately, the place I had arranged to rent fell through.
I was advised by a work colleague about Carylls Country House. I only had a few days to find somewhere. I called Michael and he had a twin room for me for six weeks.
I asked if I could bring Mick my cat, due to he would pine if I left him in a cattery. Carylls did not usually allow this, but Michael and Janine sorted it out for me. I know there would be work going on but still I have really enjoyed my stay.
Nothing was too much trouble. If I asked for anything, the staff there were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again with no hesitation and recommend to others.
All the best to Michael, Janine and all the staff of Carylls Country House.
When Cliff and I moved with the intention of completely renovating and refurbishing our new home, I contacted Michael with a view to staying in one of his apartments. We were so lucky that one was available, just as we needed it. It cost less than a hotel room per night; we had double bedroom, sitting room, sparate fully functional kitchen and bathroom. The whole process of renting by the week was easy. We basically paid and stayed week by week. Its a lovely setting, in the country, yet near my work in Crawley. I have no hesitation in recommending Carylls Country House to any one who is in between houses, or indeed need a place to stay. I love inclusive package where you dont have to worry about “extras”.
